Outdoor campaigns in Scotland
The Bike Ads can arrange campaigns in Scotland as part of its UK service, coordinating the formats, operating support and media inventory required for the brief. Tell us the cities, dates and objective so the plan can account for local activity and travel between locations.
Prepare your briefScotland
- Historical brief

A two-city Human Billboard brief
Our historical Enterprise Car Club orders included fully serviced Human Billboards in Inverness and Stirling in 2020. The scope specified two Human Billboards for two consecutive days in each city, together with print.
The example is useful for planning because it identifies the service, quantity and duration separately for each location. A new two-city brief should be just as clear about whether the same team moves between cities or whether activity must run simultaneously.
The order is a historical scope, not a statement of today’s equipment allocation or availability. The proposal for a new campaign should confirm its own staffing, dates and logistics.
Build travel into the plan
A campaign across several Scottish locations needs an itinerary that distinguishes transfers from operating hours. Include fixed event times, the sequence of cities, material handovers and any overnight requirements.
For street teams, provide local instructions and the approved message for each location. For a digital ad van, identify the intended road routes and stopping positions. For fixed media, ask for the actual sites, display periods and production arrangements rather than assuming identical inventory in each city.
Choose the format by task
On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to compare every column.
| Task | Options to discuss |
|---|---|
| A short message at selected pedestrian locations | Human billboards or ad bikes, with agreed positions and operating windows |
| Leaflet distribution or an approved introduction | Promotional staff with defined duties and materials |
| Screen-based road activity | A digital ad van with a feasible route and schedule |
| A fixed presence over a longer period | Available billboard or digital outdoor placements |
| Advertising across a transport network | Available bus or other agreed transport inventory |
If your brief concerns Glasgow, Edinburgh or another town not covered by a named historical example here, send the requirements. Our service is UK-wide; the proposal determines the appropriate local delivery rather than relying on a permanent team in every city.
What to send
List the locations, dates, preferred operating hours, objective, formats and budget range. Tell us whether the creative is ready, whether local versions are needed and what evidence your team wants after the campaign.
The quote should set out the units or placements, people, campaign time, production, travel and reporting, with VAT and any additional costs made clear. Read the guide to comparing complete quotes.
