Campaign details and availability are confirmed in your quote

Billboard advertising planned around your audience

The Bike Ads can arrange billboard campaigns through media-owner and specialist partner inventory across the UK. Start with the area you need to reach, the dates and the message; the proposal can then identify suitable available sites, formats and display periods.

Configuration, inventory and availability are confirmed for your brief.

A billboard booking buys a defined placement. For printed sites, the artwork is produced and installed for an agreed period. The location, viewing context and production requirements are as important as the panel size.

Choose the site for the job

An advertiser promoting a local opening may need a relevant approach route. A wider awareness campaign may need several sites across a town or region. Share the destination, audience and priority areas so the selection can be assessed against the brief.

Ask to see the actual site details rather than choosing from a generic city photograph. The proposal should identify the location, format, display dates and any important viewing or access considerations. A named landmark in a city does not mean inventory is available there for your dates.

Understand the format options

Printed outdoor inventory can include large roadside panels and smaller street-level placements. Labels such as 6-sheet, 48-sheet and 96-sheet describe format families; the artwork specification and installation requirements still need to come from the booked site.

For a consistent message over the display period, printed artwork can be appropriate. If you need scheduled versions or screen-based creative, digital out-of-home advertising may provide a different option. Compare the actual booking scope and available inventory.

Details to agree in your brief

Site cost varies with the location, format, availability and display period. Production and fitting may be separate from media space. The written quote should make those components and VAT clear, together with the conditions for date or artwork changes.

Make one message work at a glance

Build the design around a recognisable brand, a clear proposition and a suitable next step. The information needed on a roadside panel differs from information someone can read while waiting at a street-level placement.

Request the final artwork specification before production. Check all dates, addresses, claims and offer conditions, then have the authorised person approve the proof. The production deadline is part of the campaign timetable; late files can affect installation.

Combine fixed presence with local activity

A billboard and an ad bike do different jobs. The fixed site maintains the booked placement, while bikes or staff can support a specific opening, information day or event period nearby. A combined brief should specify each format’s locations, dates and role rather than assuming one will reproduce the coverage of another.

Common questions

Can you book a particular billboard?

Send the address, a photograph or the location details. We will discuss availability and suitable alternatives. A proposal is tied to the confirmed inventory and dates, not a guarantee of access to every site.

How long should the campaign run?

That depends on the objective and the media owner’s booking periods. Tell us whether you have a fixed event date, a short promotion or an ongoing message. The proposed schedule should account for both the display period and production time.

Do you provide the design and printing?

Tell us what you already have. Design, print and installation responsibilities are identified in the proposal so that your team can see what is supplied and what you need to approve.

What evidence will we receive?

Agree posting confirmation and photography before booking. If audience estimates are used in planning, keep their assumptions separate from evidence that the artwork was installed and from your own commercial response data.
